Supported versions of Illustrator

Hello Everyone.  Does anyone know what are the currently supported versions of illustrator.  For example are older versions of illustrator like CC 2018 and CC 2019  supported with security updates.  Thanks you.

Adobe supports only the current versions of their software.

Matching the adobe software version to your OS is essential for the best performance. Not following that is like putting leaded gas in an unleaded car, it may work but can fail catastrophically.  While Adobe tries to support older versions, the majority of their efforts are put towards the most recent versions.

Best place to check is the system requirements, they update that page with every release.

Hi @rickm19,

To add more details about the current version mentioned by @barbara_a, that includes the latest version and one version prior to it. So currently the supported versions are CC2021 and CC2020. Only the supported versions of the software are available to download from the CC desktop app. However, if the supported versions of the application are not supported by your computer and you have a prior version installed you can keep using it.
