I have Adobe CC installed on my laptop. The license was purchased by the organisation I worked at but it has ended in 2018. I would like to keep the programmes installed on my computer, but change the CC account they are linked to and purchase my own license for them. Is there a way to do this?

You should be able to sign out from the work account and then sign in using your own.

Can you please explain further how to do this?

Thanks for trying to help, I looked at this but I am already signed out of the Creative Cloud app. In fact I dont think I was ever signed in. Yet the programmes are still connected to Adobe ID that I have no access to ![]()

"The Creative Cloud apps and services associated with your Adobe ID are deactivated on that computer." This sentence is not true for me. Nothing is deactivated...

Are you able to still open the applications (Photoshop, etc) that were installed? The cloud application should still be accessible, but the applications should not be if you signed out.
Also, if you are still able to use the applications, then the license purchased by the company has not ended... licenses automatically renew (Adobe assumes continuation rather than cancellation), so you might want to check when the work account is due to end.

It just tells me I am signed out but the apps were running until the end of 2018. On the 1st January, I got message saying that I can use my apps one last time and that the license has ended and if I want to continue using them I have to contact my administrator. It said something about "the grace period"? Maybe they had licensed several computers in one account?

You have had a teams license or similar. Either the administrator has revoked the license attached or the license has expired. Teams licenses are managed centrally. You need to contact your admin for this.
However, if you have an individual license on your own, you simply can sign out or the teams account and sign in in your individual account and you can use your tools again. Libraries and your creative cloud files may need to be either copied to your new account or they need to be shared or they are lost.

Just to add:
Getting the license revoked does not mean that you do not have access to your old account. It just switched to a free one.
