Transfering elements 2020 to different computer

i need to get adobe photoshop elements 2020 on to new computer.  it currently resides on a dying computer which im going to replace.  i originally bought a disk.  i cant remember if there was a activation code or.....  what do i need to do?

You put the disc in the drive and enter your serial number when asked

 

You need to de-activate on the old computer to release the serial number

Which operating system do you have on your new computer?  I ask because only the latest versions of software (2022) will work on bleeding edge operating systems now.
