Tried reinstalling creative cloud and now getting error code 1.

i have done EVERYTHING im told to do for 2 days now. I have no more time to waste, i have clients waiting for their pictures! Please someone helpppp

Important steps to follow :

Once you had uninstalled App or Ran Adobe Cleaner tool.

For confirmation purpose follow below steps:

Windows :

End all Adobe processes from Task Manager like  Creative Cloud , Core Sync, ARMsvc, Acrotray., AAMUpdater ....etc

Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.

Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Important : Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.

Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.

Then try to reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud app.

Mac :

Launch Activity Monitor and "Force Quit" all the process related to Adobe like Creative Cloud, CoreSync, AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon from Activity monitor.

1) Click on the Finder and look for the options listed next to Apple Icon located at the top left corner of the Desktop screen and click on "Go" menu button and select "Utilities" option.

(Applications>Utiliites)

Locate Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manager folder under Utilities window and trash both folders.


2)

Click on the below link and download & run Adobe Cleaner tool :

Select the option "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6" and then click on "Clean up Selected" .

3) Then try to reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud app.

Imp : Restart the computer once .

Repeat same process with some added steps .

1) Open Control Panel and Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features .

Under Program and Features list, if Present locate the option : Adobe Creative Cloud  and uhninstall the same.

2) Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.

Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.

Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4) Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.

Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.

appdata

Then navigate to Local>Adobe.

Open Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.

5) Run Cleaner tool , select CC 2014 , CC and CS 6 option..

Under the same , if present remove Adobe applicaiton manager / Creative Cloud desktop .

Click on the below link and download Adobe application manager and install the same:

http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/creativesuite/cc/win/ApplicationManager9.0_all.exe

Once the Adobe application manager is installed , it will create Adobe application manager shortcut on Desktop.

Double click on it , it will start update process and gets updated to Creative Cloud desktop application.

On step 6 here the link leads to a 404. I've been trying to get Creative Cloud installed for an hour now. Really curious why this seems like such a common pain point.

install the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

NOTE: win 11 users that have trouble with the latest win 10 installer often have success with the older win 10 installer.
