Tried to trial Adobe Pro and CC has uninstalled my Dreamweaver

What a nightmare. And the worst part is, Adobe Pro failed to instal anyway. 

How do I get my (Legal!!!) but older copy of DW back?

So this was an older non-subscription version? Don't try to run these along side any current subscription app, terrible things may happen. To get back the old app, reinstall it from the original disk or download with the original serial number. But only once you've got CC fully off the system; that's quite difficult.
