Hello all,
I had an old computer build die on me and go corrupt therefore making it impossible for me to deactivate CS6 on that PC before reinstalling it on the new computer I have now. I have the Photoshop CS6 serial number here, and it tells me I have two active devices it's installed on which is no longer true. I was wondering if there is a way around this or am I just doomed to get all the new stuff from the creative cloud? I'd like to avoid that due to the fact I don't get to go out and take photos as I used to nor mess around in photoshop as I used to either, I can't justify paying a subscription.
If it boils down to it, I'll have to bite the bullet on the Photography Plan on creative cloud.
Thanks for any help!

(this is the ONLY support Adobe still offers for old programs)
When you can't deactivate a serial number
BE SURE TO ONLY ASK FOR ACTIVATION SUPPORT TO ADJUST YOUR ACTIVATION COUNT
You may need to PERSIST or TRY AGAIN to find a support agent with more experience

Like many others, my computer crashed with the last Windows 10 update. The only fix was a clean Windows install, which means I didn't have the opportunity to deactivate CS6. Every chat support person so far has stated that CS6 is no longer supported. Since I don't need help with the actual application, will someone... somehow be able to help deactivate one installation so I can reinstall on my newly installed Windows 10 machine? Am I chasing my tail???

CS6 is discontinued & unsupported. It's no longer available with a Creative Cloud subscription (your first screenshot) and cannot be used on modern Macs (Catalina, Big Sur or Monterey). Nor has legacy Creative Suite been tested on Windows 11. It might work or not.
MODERN OPTION:
Photoshop Elements (under $100, no subscription needed).
