I'm trying to make as much disk space as I can through add or remove programs from the system settings but I'm unable to unstall Adobe Photoshop 2022 (23.0.2.101) which is taking up 3.7 GB. Whenever I try to uninstall it says "Specified product is not installed on this machine. Please quit the installer and start over."
I've already tried using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to clean it all up but that program is still there & I'm unable to uninstall it. I'd really appreciate some help. Many thanks!

So, I've tried this & it says that it has successfully uninstalled the file but it's still there. Interstingly, the file size shows as much smaller on here (20 MB compared to 3.7 GB). This thing just won't go away & I'm wondering if it's worth spending any more time on this. I'd still prefer to get rid of it though

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Did you try uninstalling the software through Creative Cloud desktop application?

It doesn't show up on there. I've run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to clean it all up and just now iobit. That thing won't budge

if it's still there, can you apply iobit to what's remaining?

It's not on Creative Cloud if that's what you're asking. iobit come's up with a message that says it can't find where the program is supposed to be located but that goes away & it says installation was successful. That program is still there on the programs list though. No matter how many times I try.

you're confused. maybe just leave things alone or ask for help from someone in your household.

What exactly are you saying I'm confused about? Not sure why you're assuming that someone else in my household has the solution. This is an Adobe related issue hence me being here on the Adobe Community forumns. Thanks for your help so far & if you're unable to help me anymore, it's all good. Laters.

there are no applications installed on creative cloud. that doesn't make sense.
all installed adobe applications are installed on your computer. iobit would workon applications installed on your computer.

Mate you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. I didn't say that I've got no apps installed on Creative Cloud. I've got Photoshop 2024 on there. What I was saying is that the troublesome one (Photoshop 2022) doesn't show up on CC but it does on the list of programs on both iobit & add/remove programs on the system settings. I did post a screenshot with my first post but like I said, if you don't get it that's fine. I'll just have to wait for someone else. Thank you for your help.

Same exact problem, just here to say you're not alone. Any solution would still be nice.

there are several possible causes of an app being installed by the cc desktop app and the cc desktop app not being able to recognize the install and/or not being able to uninstall it.
the causes all involve a change of the cc desktop app's preferences after installation. eg, changing the install language, or changing the install location can cause this.
to remedy, change the cc preferences back to the settings used to install the problematic app.

Just a long shot:
Try uninstalling in Safe Mode.
Or try reinstalling and then uninstalling.
