I have attempted to use my 1TB External SSD but it won't go to my SSD instead it went directly to my Computers storage I even went to preferences and thought I fixed the problem unfortunately that didn't work so I searched on google to see the issue and found nothing about it so it might be that I am missing something obvious or this is a rare Issue.
1. before changing the install location in the adobe app, uninstall the adobe programs that you want to move (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html)
2. open the cc application, click file>preferences>apps>and change the install location (to a non-root folder on a local hard drive).
3. install the programs you wanted to move.
Hi,
As I understand, you are trying to change the install location for Adobe apps. However, you were not able to.
Please follow the steps shared in this link : https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/using/change-install-location.html
Let us know, or share a screenshot of what you see when you go to the preferences.

for others, if you fail to uninstall your app first (before changing install location) and then try to uninstall, you won't be able to (because the cc app is set to look for the old program in the new location. ie, doing this in the correct order is important when changing an apps install location.

Thank you, guys, so much it's working now
(I'm not sure if it was a bug because when I was trying to uninstall the Adobe Apps it wouldn't let me so I had to reinstall everything(Creative Cloud) but everything is good now Thanks.)

first issue: what do you mean by "deleted"? ie, really deleting is far from a proper uninstallation.

ok, so you properly uninstalled your app from an undesired location (i assume without problem). you then changed your install location to an external/removable hard drive.
do you have a mac? if so, what's the hard drive format?
