Un-register CS 5.5 on a laptop I no longer own

As in the subject -  I want to to deactivate my CS Prod Premium 5.5 license on a machine that is no longer in my posession.
How should I proceed to make it happen?

When you can't deactivate a serial number
BE SURE TO ONLY ASK FOR ACTIVATION SUPPORT TO ADJUST YOUR ACTIVATION COUNT
You may need to PERSIST or TRY AGAIN to find a support agent with more experience
