Unable to download trial

I tried to get adobe after effects but I wanted to do the free trial. So I do all the steps and I get to the point where it says "We'll email you a link so you can easily download After Effects CC on your desktop" I pressed "send me the link". I get the email and open the link, but it sends me right back to the page that says "We'll email you a link so you can easily download After Effects CC on your desktop". Why does it keep doing that.
