Unable to install Adobe XD on MacBook Pro

Hi,

I downloaded the installable and once I try to run it it asked me for User name and Password. I keyed in the Adobe Password but nothing happened and the dialog box kept opening again and again.

I then restarted the Macbook and trying installing again. Now the installer itself is not popping up.

Please help urgently as I have to create an assignment for school and submit tomorrow.

That's your Mac operating system asking you to enter your local admin username and password to give permission for the installer to install files on your hard drive. Nothing to do with Adobe.

So many Mac users get tripped up by this.
