Hi I have 2 users, 1 on a Mac and one on a PC, that do not have the option to update their apps. Both users have older versions on InDesign, Illustrator and PS and it's causing an issue with production. We've tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling. Didn't work.
I should mention that our business was just acquired so we moved from account to the other. I have 6 users total and only 2 are having this issue.

WhIch “older” version do they have? Which version are you trying to update to? What version of OS and Windows, specifically?
The newer versions of Adobe applications won’t run on old operating systems, and this is why we need specifics before we can give an accurate answer.

On the PC, InDesign is one version back from V 14.0 (13.1 I think). Each program is lagging one version. He's using Windows 8.1. We called Adobe who said InDesign V14 will only run on Windows 10 but I'm running Windows 7 without any issues so that doesn't make any sense. The Mac user is trying to update her OS to Mojave (I think).

Check the actual system requirements carefully - don't guess or assume! There are some apps that run in Windows 7 and Windows 10 but not Windows 8. Some CC apps are Windows 10 only.

Give exact versions and OS for each and we can look it up.
When CC 2018 came out, for instance, it did not show up for me because I had an older operating system and needed to run older programs. My personal solution was to buy a new computer with High Sierra and install CC 2018 on that.
Be aware that the new 2019 versions are somewhat buggy right now, and you might want to wait until the first patch.

Are your accounts managed by your IT department? They could be blocking individual user updates. Do you see other application updates available or none at all?
