Hi
I have just updated by apps to run PS but still have a previous version showing on my Mac. Is it ok to remove it or how to I find where I can set my computer to automatically remove old versions. Many thanks
I like to keep old versions just in case I ever need them later. When you upgrade to a newer version, click on ADVANCED OPTIONS in Creative Cloud desktop app. Tick the box for Remove Old Versions. See screenshot.

Thankyou. I will give it a go. I have one version dated 2015 followed by
a 2018 and a 2019 version. I was keeping them in case the software needs
something from the old versions. (sorry I havent a clue about some of
this). I am also getting an error message when I try to open PS that says
"cant open programme because of a command error)" I still opens, but i was
just wondering if the old versions were interfering in some way.
Are you able to advise please?
Many thanks
Sandra

I have postponed installing 2019 PS until they sort out some of the known bugs.
When you're ready to uninstall 2015 & 2018, do it through your operating system. It might also be prudent to wipe off old files with the Adobe Cleaner tool.
Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Just to note: I also have some prior Ps version directories on my computer, but they are nearly empty. I only reinstall when having issues. The great thing with CC is that you have accesss to all versions since CS6. And that at the push of a button.

Hi Nancy
Just out of interest when I open the Adobe CC app on my desktop I cannot
see how you get the advanced options box to open. Could you please direct
me.
Many thanks
