Want to upgrade from photography to student (all apps)

Hi
I tried reaching out for Adobe support, but it seems like a dead end.

I have photography package and I am currently a student, so I would like to upgrade my plan to the student (all apps) but it requires me to cancel the current plan and then start purchasing a new one. My question would be: is it possible for me to keep the same account when purchasing the student plan? Is it enough to show them my student ID or the email that I have the plan registered has to be from my uni? And does any of you know how long does it take to get a new plan to be approved?
