What is that mess??? [Why are multiple versions of the apps installed after updating?]

Hey what is that mess here?? Why I end up with different version of softwares? Can you make things clear or at least inform us?

Hi @Frederic25424161h1ot,

This is not a mess but a feature. Many a times people need to use multiple versions for various reasons. Having said that, if you just want a single version you can do the following

• Uninstall the non required version from Creative Cloud Desktop app
• To avoid this in future, select "Remove old versions" option in Creative Cloud Desktop app preferences. See the following article https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html

also, when you install a new version you're given the option to uninstall the previous version.  just take your time before clicking ok (after clicking update) to tick the uninstall previous version option.
