I just purchased a Thinkpad and was heartbroken to realize I now simply have a paperweight/tablet now.   Any Idea when this will be released or what other alternative programs I can use?

1 - this is a public forum, nobody here knows Adobe's plans

2 - you are asking about other programs in an Adobe forum?

it's not, at all, clear what you're posting about.  adobe's specs are here https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html and do include arm devices.

Not for InDesign, which says "Windows: Processor Multicore Intel processor (with 64-bit support) or AMD Athlon® 64 processor."

Yes, you have a paperweight. Adobe don't seem very interested in supporting this specialist/leading edge processor. It's vital to check system requirements before buying hardware.

There are many apps for page layout, but no substitute for InDesign (i.e. nothing that can open InDesign files or collaborate with InDesign workers).
