Where are my downloaded stock images on my Mac?

Good evening guys and girls.  I am a complete novice.  I have never used any adobe apps before.  But because I have my own business and do a lot of social media advertising, I want to learn so I don't have to keep paying other people!  So I committed to subscribing to CC for a year to make me do it.  I'm really good at teaching myself new things and I usually do it by way of online tutorials.  However... I am stuck at the first hurdle.  When I signed up I was 'given' 10 stock images.  I chose the 10 I wanted and I can see the in CC 'libraries'.  I have created a new library, named it and moved the images over.  However, when I open photoshop, create new and go to file > open I don't know where to go to find the library.  I searched the forum and found this answer username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Creative Cloud Libraries/Libs/  If I follow this link I can indeed see see up to 'creative cloud libraries' but there are no libraries listed (only the CC icon).  I hope I'm getting my point across.  Help much appreciated.  Thanks.

assumes Windows not Mac

if your library isn't showing in Photoshop;

step 1 = click the top menu "Window" then select "library" from the list... items showing a tick are already selected

Screenshot (2143).png

step 2 = Adobe added a new tutorial that tries to autplay the first time you select the library panel and you have to get rid of it before you can use your library [see left]... your two options are "view by group" or "cancel"

Screenshot (2144).png

step 3 once you get rid of the tutorial you can now use your library from within Photoshop... my example is showing my Fuse library, there is also a search option and if you mouse over the Adobe icon it should say if library is up to date or still downloading new files

Thank you for replying.  When I select Libraries, nothing happens...  This is what my libraries looks like (I created a library called Nicky and moved the 10 stock images from My Library into it.  No idea why My Library has duplicated?)

Let's look if you find your libraries in the cloud on your web browser:

https://assets.adobe.com/libraries

You need to be signed-in with your Adobe id in your browser. If not, you will be asked to sign-in.

Do you see your assets/library there?

Yes I can see libraries there (I moved the images from My Library into a library called Nicky, not sure why My Library has duplicated?)

At least, we know now that the library and the data is there.

Even if that is not the "correct" way, you can access the data there.

You should now show a screen shot similar to Ussnorway's.

No, when I do as Ussnorway suggests nothing happens.  Nothing is happening when I 'select' libraries.  Shouldn't the library be stored locally somewhere?  I can't seem to find it on my Mac.

Nothing is happening when I 'select' libraries

so to be clear,

when you press the library in your Photoshop;

  • no items are in your library panel? or
  • the library panel itself isn't showing up?

a screengrab normally saves time mate... we can offen see the error from clues within the image
