Hey!

After updating to latest everything all the apps disappeared from the dock, application folder and launchpad. Only way to launch them is from the CC application, which is something I do not want to do as I like to have some shortcuts in the dock and some in the lauchpad. Where are they??

Interesting, did you check the Applications folder? They should be there, if you can't locate them there then launch the application and Cmd + Click on the app icon in the dock, it will open the finder window showing the location of the application.

Launcpad is fine because if shows things placed in applications folder. However, any app you open does show the icon in the dock while it's running, during that time if you Cmd + Click on the icon you are taken to the actual location of the app. Anyhow, now that you have found the location it's all good.

Some of that is weird, but some of it is normal too. The Dock contains only what you put there. If you put Photoshop 23 in the Dock, nothing is going to put Photoshop 24 there - you have to do that yourself. This is a deliberate choice by Apple, so you get to choose yourself, not Adobe, not any app maker.
