The Creative Cloud icon disappeared from my top bar on my Mac computer.
How do I fix this?

If you open the desktop app and choose Quit it will close and will no longer be visible on your title bar. You can reopen it from the Applications folder.

Hi Barb... thanks for your reply. I should have specified that I can't find the Adobe Creative Cloud icon in the Applications folder either. Very strange.
Lightroom and Photoshop do work, however...

Hi andreaudet82 :
That's so weird. You can re-download it from here: Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe Creative Cloud trial. Sign in to convert it from a trial to a subscription.

I'm having the same issue mentioned above. I restarted the mac, looked for it in applications and still nothing. I also tried downloading the creative cloud multiple times and it seems to "time out" at 36%. I'm stumped!!

If your installation or update of the CC app failed either due to stalled install or you quit/restarted during update the app will be gone.
The process of updating removes the current version and installs a new version.
If anything interrupted this the original is gone and a new version is not installed.
