Why is Creative Cloud unaware of the 4.3 release?

A month ago, I wondered if LR would ever be updated again, then read that 4.2 had been out for a while. But Creative Cloud didn't seem to be aware of its existence, and claimed that I was fully up to date (I was on 3.9 or something). I read a lot of tips on the internet and nothing worked. I finally uninstalled and reinstalled LR and finally got to 4.2.

 

Now I see that 4.3 is available, but once again, Creative Cloud seems to be unaware of it. I go to the Updates tab, three dots, Check for Updates and it says "You're up to date!" even though I'm not. 

 

Creative Cloud is just not talking to the mothership for some reason. This is getting frustrating. Any suggestions?

Thanks Axel. Went through all the steps, then finally uninstalled and reinstalled LR, which brought it up to 4.3. Happy to have resolution but don't love having to go through this every time there's an upgrade available. I wonder what the heck is causing it, and whether a future Creative Cloud update will fix the problem for good.
