Why won't Adobe provide a link to older versions of Lightroom? [Need link for LR 4.4 for Mac]

Several years ago I paid for standalone versions of Photoshop and Lightroom. My office machine is an 2014 Mac mini running OS 10.10.5 and I have no plans to update the OS because of how slow it is.

Here's my issue: I paid for a license for Lightroom 4.4 and there's no longer a link to a standalone download on Adobe's site. After combing the forums I read several posts that recommended contacting customer support for a link but when I contacted support the agent refused to provide me with a link. He suggested I buy a creative cloud license which I already have and won't run on my old slow Mac mini. He did provide a link to LR 3 but I don't have a license for it. I asked repeatedly for a link to LR 4 and the agent refused to provide one. I've literally paid multiple thousands of dollars for Adobe products over the years and own a license to LR 4 which is listed in my Adobe account. Why would an agent proved a link to LR 3 and then not for LR 4?

Can someone help me out?

Sorry, but nobody here will be able to help with a link to an old download

You may now download ONLY if you bought direct from Adobe via download
-Log-in to your account and click this link https://account.adobe.com/products
--click Order history on the left and then the link to your order that will show on the right
--and finally click the link "Downloads and serial numbers" that will appear
--as always, write the serial number in a text file AND copy that text file and the
---download file(s) to

-if you did not buy direct from Adobe via download you must find your original install
--if you have an Education or volume license you MUST use your original media
--the link for an Education or volume license download is not available at all
-if you bought a disc and don't have a drive you will need to buy an external USB drive
-if you bought a download from a 3rd party vendor you will need to contact that vendor

LR 4.4 doesn't appear in my products list but does appear in my licenses so no download for me. Thanks for nothing Adobe! I guess this is my opportunity to look at alternative batch editing apps that are compatible with older Mac and OS's. Time for me to redownload an older version of Capture One.
