Workspace constantly needs resetting

(for reference: Latest Mac OS + latest CC)

I have 2 screens, and generally keep my tools on my secondary (right-side) screen just to have them out of the way.

Every time I wake or turn on my computer, I have to reset my workspace because the tools will kind of randomly be somewhere else - usually hanging half way off the right side of the right screen, but sometimes they're half way hanging off the left side of the left screen. This is on ALL apps, across the board.

I thought it was from turning off my screens one at a time, but it happens when I just let them go to sleep as well.

How do I fix that? It's super annoying, and never happened with CS 6 on Windows.

FYI: “latest” is a bad reference as that will soon be obsolete. And it does not check anyone here if it is really “the latest” version.

Hi,

In addition to knowing the version numbers of OSX and CC, we need to also know the name of the software applications that are causing trouble.

You said “all apps” but I have yet to meet anyone who used all of the CC apps — you may be the first!

Sometimes when you have to reset a workspace continually, you don’t have the rights to save to that folder. When we get more info, we can tell you which folder to check.

When I said all apps, I mean all the ones I use... I was just trying to say that it's not related to any app. Sorry for not being *extremely* specific for you. ID, PS, AI are the ones I have custom workspaces for.

FYI: soon to be obsolete is not yet obsolete
