Workspace Elements 2020 will not load

After installing Adobe Première Elements 2020 (paid version) my Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 workspace would no longer load. 2019 version does still load. Have tried reinstalling in both default and external sites but still no luck. I'm using a Mac Pro running IOS Catalina 10.15.7.

reset your preferences,
