Trying to activate Elements and LR on a third device (new laptop). Have deactivated on old laptop. I cannot activate because get "... already in use by maximum allowed computers .." error. Account shows "You have no activated devices". I'm stuck. Apps running okay on desktop PC.

On Elements, you have a finite number of actvations possible.   You may use your software on up to two devices.  Beyond that you would need to deactivate one from the software's help menu before you can install on a 3rd device.

 

If you have exceeded your activation count, contact Adobe for assistance.
