The CS3 and earlier activation server has been retired... but you should be able to activate CS6

What is your operating system, and what error message do you see?

If your new Mac is running Big Sur or Catalina operating systms, there is no way of installing CS6 on it.

You'll need to sign up for a Cloud plan to run the Adobe apps on Big Sur or Catalina since only the current Cloud versions of those apps are supported.

Hi John,
I have Yosemite for IMac 2012
I am thinking to install high Sierra.

Yes new MacBook pro M1 is running big sur I presume cs6 will not work.

How to download high Sierra from Apple?
All I can find 3rd party link. I am not sure I want to download patch from.

Yotaro

Dear John,
thanks for reply.
I found link to High sierra.
https://apps.apple.com/au/app/macos-high-sierra/id1246284741?mt=12
but i can not download to iMac with Yosemite which not support from Apple,
I can not access apple ID, keep asking password I can not update.
I wanted to download to thumb drive.
I may have to reboot hard disk, it may come up with installation operation
system. my back up application cs6 may not able to activate. adobe is not
surpport any more. that why i post to ask community.

My new macbook tells me, you have Big sur. could not download.
I've been going around circle.
It maybe only way to use third party download.
kind regards
Yotaro
