I am using a new MacBookPro and I'm trying to install Lightroom Classic. Until now, I've been on an older MacBook and running Lightroom 6. The Adobe Application App starts to download, but freezes up, most often at 21.5%. Should I remove all previous Lightroom downloads and try again?

The one thing that was causing it for me, believe it or not, was that I needed to do a clean installation of the latest Studio graphics driver from the NVIDIA website. After doing that and restarting, all was OK.

Thanks, Peru Bob -- I finally got this straightened out by running the Cleaner Tool and then reinstalling the CC App, and then I downloaded the Lightroom Classic and everythng went just fine. Now I'm up and running. Thanks -
