Hi RaminXick,

A few questions to better understand:

What operating system are you on?

Are you getting the exact same error message as the screen shot from JDG Photo?

I've been having the same problem.

I renamed the OOBE folder as recommended, but the problem is that the downloader for CC Desktop can't run without accessing a program in that folder. The browser prompts me for an application to handle the URI of the download link, and it prompts me to use an application in the OOBE folder. The installation fails when I have the OOBE folder renamed because it can't find the program it needs to handle the URI. The installation fails when the folder isn't renamed, with the message "We've encountered the following issues: Adobe Application Manager failed to install."

This is the exact same error I get when I run Adobe Application Manager from the Start menu. It automatically starts updating, then after the progress bar has gone all the way accross I get the error. I have run the program "as administrator."

There is no standalone download I can find for CC Desktop that doesn;t require the program in the OOBE folder to handle. When the folder is renamed it can;t find it; when it can find it, the update fails.

For Windows 8, 64-bit,

I Renamed OOBE to OOBE_old located at

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

I then relaunched the Browser

I went to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

I Signed in with Adobe ID and password.

I clicked on the  download button but absolutely nothing was happening.

You will find below a video showing what happens when I click the download button when OOBE is not renamed.

I hope this bug will be fixed promptly because all my CC applications are now paid for a while and not yet presently accessible and useable.

I feel, in all fairness, until the problem is fixed, Adobe should provide a credit.

Thanks for your understanding.

I'm getting the same error message! I have Norton Internet Security, maybe that might have something to do with the error, because in the office I had no problems installing it.
