Adobe portfolio redirects to non www version

Hi I would like my portfollio site to use the www version but it redirects to the non www version is it something ive done wrong ?

No, you have done nothing wrong.  If your site resolved to both www and non-www, you would take a beating from Google for having duplicate site content.   Portfolio rightfully redirects all incoming traffic to the primary domain at  HTTPS : // domain . com or HTTPS : // your_name . portfolio . com.  Make sense?

No, you have done nothing wrong.  If your site resolved to both www and non-www, you would take a beating from Google for having duplicate site content.   Portfolio rightfully redirects all incoming traffic to the primary domain at  HTTPS : // domain . com or HTTPS : // your_name . portfolio . com.

Not true.  Browsers don't hide anything.

Reputable websites configure their servers properly.  Sadly, not all servers are properly configured.

 

Primary domain = example . com

     subdomain = www . example . com
