Tested around a long time. Once photoshop and alle the "necessary" processes are installed on my Dell Precision workstation (which has huge amount of performance ; ) ) the whole system is slowed down, every task in every program, specially all filesystemacces. System utilization is low, cpu load is low, memory load is low, but the system performance is be bad. Uninstalling Adobe suite and the performance is back. I am bored and will have no fun to analyze it. What the heck is the problem with this software? It feels a bit like antivirusprogram behaviour, where every access is checked from another process, which slows the whole system down. Has anyone "sniffed about", traced or did a debug, what is going on here?!

you are not the only person seeing performance problems.  otoh, most of us users see no performance issue with several adobe cc programs open simultaneously.

so, there most be some interaction between adobe programs or adobe background processes (https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/adobe-background-processes.html) and something else on your computer causing the problem.

likely suspects woud be av, antimalware  and any other programs that monitor your computer for suspicious behaviour.
