Attempting to cancel- given 3 months free?

I called in to inquire about cancelling my account without the extra fee. I am a college student affected by COVID-19, and am no longer required to have these services. I called, and was given three months of free access. However, I don't need access, and would like to cancel my subscription altogether, as I not longer need it for class.

The woman I spoke to said that my subcription would simply end in three months, after my free three months. However, my account still lists my next billing date in July, and still includes the cancellation fee.

I appreciate your understanding!

My question: Can I just cancel my subscription without the cancellation fee?

(I know this would have to be considered a special circumstance)

I hope that you feel better.  I also hope that you are not using COVID-19 as excuse.... if you lie about things it can bring you bad karma.  But if you have the virus, then I do hope you get better.  I would not wish it on anyone.  So take care of yourself.... and get healthy soon!

We're all being effected by Corona Virus whether infected or not.  These are very crazy times.

That said, this is a user-to-user forum, not Adobe support.  You must talk to an online chat agent about your particular situation and explain that you have no interest in the extra 3 months.  You simply want to cancel.

If you can persuade the agent to waive the cancellation fees, great.  But they are not under any obligation to do so.

Good luck and stay well.
