Auto update re-checks itself in every dialogue

After every significant update adobe tries to sneak the setting to auto-update instead of what I selected last time: off/allow me to decide.

If I un-check a box in the settings its should stay off.
Can you leave this preference set the way I've decided, Adobe?

(though, i don't see that.  i'm prompted to allow auto-update after updates but it's changed secretively.)
