you can install acrobat 9 and then update it.
Downloadable installation files available:
Download and installation help for Adobe links
Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages. They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3. If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

http://trials2.adobe.com/Applications/Acrobat/ACRO/9/ACRO9_Win_WEB_WWEFG.exe

available, so I ma stuck at 9.0. How can I get to Acrobat 9.5.1 or 9.5.5 Standard?
Please let me know the link to installer for the most recent release of

Thank you for the response.
I've been already on that web page,
however, there are only available updates from
Version 10.0.1 onwards, not also for Version 9.
On the ftp site, it is true, there are also several
files for updating Version 9, however, I am not
sure what I need to do with these msp files, i.e.,
which one to download and how to then apply it
(them?).
I have installed Version 9.0, so I would appreciate
if someonw could be so kind and offer me some
guidelines on what I need to do in order to
bring it to 9.5.5.
Thank you,
Matjaz

And these are the updates: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/9.x/

Thank you, these guidelines sounds nice, I will try to do it later today.
Although, i must say, it would be much easier to have a simple
setup.exe that would bring the current version up to 9.5.5.
Thank you,
Matjaz

Thank you all for the provided input and help.

Hi MAVRE,
Can you please explain further how you managed this command line update. I have tried the above but without success. Should I add a PATH after msiexec /p, or will it work if I am in the right folder? If I add a path, do I just add the folder and then the update file names egC:\User\nr***\AdobeUpdate\AcroProStdUpd910_T1T2_incr.msp;
Also, I see elsewhere that omus and ecmus should be lower case? with/without quotes eg "ecmus" and ALL not All?
many thanks,
Nigel

Well, that post was from 5 years ago but I guess it will still work if you kept all the files. The AdobeUpdate--.msp is simply a filename. So you should be in the directory containing all the update msp files.
