I had the cloud for work since I taught Adobe Premiere to my studnets had instructor copy on my computer. Now that I'm retired I want to install my former CS6 which I own and it wants me to join the cloud and will not open the programs that I already own. Just not right

As soon as you install any part of the Cloud, even a trial, it replaces your program management system
-if you plan to keep using CS6 (or earlier) you should NOT install a Cloud program, not even a trial

CS6 is unsupported and no longer sold. It is not certified to work on newer operarting systems. Use it at your own risk.
1. Run the Adobe Cleaner tools to wipe old Adobe files off your system.

2. Restart your computer.
3. Re-install CS6 from your original disks or downloads and activate with a legitimate serial number.
4. Restart your computer.
NOTE 1: CS6 will not run on macOS Catalina which ended support for 32-bit apps.
NOTE2: CS6 installers don't work on macOS Sierra, High Sierra or Mojave without workarounds.

Good luck!
