Chrome blocks Adobe pdf converter

Usually when I download a pdf, Adobe automatically appears on the right side of the screen, with a Convert button. 

Today, Chrome seems to override it with a PDF to DOC program.

How can I find the Adobe converter? I paid for it for a year.

When you say Adobe, don't you really mean Acrobat?

Which version of Acrobat do you have on your machine?

In Windows search bar, type Acrobat.

On Mac, use Spotlight.
