Just updated the cloud desktop app and now it loads blank. I can't sign in or download programs anymore. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and still nothing.

How do I fix this?

Rename the opm.db file.

  1. Close the Creative Cloud application if it's running.
  2. Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
  3. Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
  4. Launch Creative Cloud

I can't seem to rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db..

It says its opened in the Adobe Cloud application even though everything is closed.

I had this problem because the Adobe Application Manager was still running even though I had already quit the Creative Cloud app.

I used the Windows Task Manager, Processes tab to end the process that begins AAM.

Then I could change the filename of opm.db no trouble

I just clicked and selected box and renamed it opm_old.db.  However, the CC window on the menu bar remains blank...no apps.  In my case CC PS 2014 had disappeared from the dock.  From application folder I dragged CC PS 2014 to the dock. I am able to open CC PS 2014 program and work on images but the CC app window still remains devoid of apps.

Dear Ankit,

I have just tried installing Creative Cloud onto my new Mac Pro (3 Ghz 8-core Intel Xeon E5) - and I have this blank dropdown window when I click on the CC icon at the top. I had just transfered all my files from my old MacBook Pro which Adobe Cloud is working perfectly on, but nothing works on the Mac Pro at all. I have tried looking for that file you mentioned in OOBE folder but the only file when that is opened is called "PDApp". No sign of opm.db at all. I followed the clean up advice from another forum but to no resolve??? CC seems to have been uninstalled now from the computer at the mo, and there is no way of getting it back!

I have deadlines and they aren't going to be met so swift helpwould be great.

Many thanks

Sean

This fix used to work but no longer is working for me. Help. I've tried uninstalling CC Desktop, restarting my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit machine, installing Creative Cloud Desktop app and no change. I've renamed the folder OBB and tired all the same things. This worked fine a couple months ago and not no luck. Any thoughts.

Thank you!!! Now it's working!

But I've been using Adobe for several months now. And it always worked! Why did this problem suddenly appear?

I have the same problem, but there is no opm.db file in my OOBE folder -- it's empty except for an alias to a folder called PDApp.

I'm running Mac OS 10.9.4.

When I first discovered this problem, I deleted the AAManager plug-in and reinstalled Creative Cloud, per a suggestion on the Adobe site.

What do I do now?

...probably too late but...   I had same problem. You must open user's library (not shared). Easiest way is to locate it is from finder: Finder - Open (with alt) - Library - Application Support .........

How can I rename it? When I tried, it kept saying that it was open in the Service of the Adobe Desktop App.

Is there a way to fix that?
