Creative Cloud & iPad for student use?

Hi All! I am a student and admittedly not tech-savvy. I have an upcoming, required class that requires "Adobe Creative Cloud Student & Teacher Edition Annual Subscription." Is this something I can use on the latest model of either the iPad Air or Pro?

I also have a 2015 MacBook Air but was told it'd be hit or miss on there.

I've been to the Apple store, chatted with my school's tech department, Googled, etc and no one can seem to give me a definititive answer. Most articles and info I'm finding are 3+ years old so I'm wondering if they're outdated (the articles).

Thank you!

Desktop apps like Photoshop and Illustrator require Windows or Mac OS.  Adobe makes a few  mobile apps specifically for the iPad, iPhone and Androids. But these are companion apps not to be confused with their desktop counterparts.

Your machine must meet or exceed the minimum system requirements to run the Creative Cloud Desktop App + all other apps you intend to use like PS, LR, ID, etc...   And if you do much video work, you'll need a lot more than the minimum requirements to ensure a better user experience.    See links below.

IMO you get a lot more bang for your buck with a good Windows PC than you do with an overpriced and often underpowered Mac.  But I'll let you decide what you can afford.

To give you an idea of what's recommended, a Windows workstation for Photoshop users:
