Viel Erfolg!

Hi Irise,

There seem to be some issues with Creative Cloud on Mac 10.15. If you haven't already, try the solutions in this help document. I know you mention turning off your firewall, but some of the other fixes may work.

If those do not help, some people have had success running the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to clean up old remnants on their computer that are interfering with the new installation.

Let us know if you still are unable to get the installation to work.

Hi DelphiZoa,

many thanks for your answer. I've tested some of the solutions, but I can't install the Creative Cloud App or the Client. And I don't feel able to configure hardware firewalls or proxies because I don't know enough about it...

I can load download the Apps but I can't install them. Is it a problem with Apple? Because it works on my microsoft laptop!

Hi again,

Yes, the problem seems to be more commonly affecting people with Catalina on Mac. Did you try using the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool mentioned in my previous reply? It may remove conflicting or corrupted files that are preventing installation It also does not require a lot of computer know how to run. You can find more information in this help document.

If you already used the Cleaner Tool, let us know, and we'll go from there.

Hi,

yes, I tried. I can download the creative cloud cleaner tool, but when I try to install it, I get a message "the creative cloud cleaner too.app can't be open, because Apple can't look in it for malware. This software needs to be updated. Please contact the developer"

I think its a problem with catalina 10.15...

Hi Irise,

Okay, that error message helps. It's not a problem per se, but rather one of Catalina's security features. By default, OS 10.15 is set to allow installations only from Apple or "identified developers". It sounds like your system does not recognize Adobe and therefore blocks it. Here is an article from Apple on how to temporarily bypass those settings so your Creative Cloud can.... Scroll to the bottom to the section on "How to open an app that hasn't been notarized".

Long story short, if you go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General tab, you should see the uninstalled Creative Cloud app(s). Hopefully, you will see an option to "Open Anyway", which will allow everything to install.

I'm sorry, but I'm out of ideas. It sounds like an issue with your operating system. Therefore, I would recommend contacting Apple customer support for options.
