Not sure why it was locked, it sure hasn't been solved.

I've logged 12 hours trying to update my software so I can get something done, and this?!?! I had ONE GB left after updates, and nothing would start. Had to uninstall ALL OF IT, AND START AGAIN

I see the change that I made to the default directory, but good old Creative Cloud's just doing what it wants, and installing to my core hard drive anyway, despite the change.

If I didn't have to work with this software, I'd shut it down. Any other company pulling this stuff would go bankrupt.

You will not be able to run with just 1GB, or even just 10GB on your system disk. Many things need space on the system disk, including temporary downloads before installing. When installed, the bulk of the app will be on the disk you chose, but your system is close to disaster even without Adobe installs...

This post was locked because the last answers aren't contructive and only blaming Adobe.

If you don't have enough free space, no program will run properly. You have to deinstall unneeded software and delete temporary files. If this is not enough you have to install a drive with more capacitiy.

BTW: Here you'll find a detailed description how to install CC on an different disc driv:
