Creative Cloud Installer P1 error code

I keep on getting the P1 error code at 0.5% installation. Please don't give me the generic answer I have been seeing on all the other posts about the P1 error code. It hasn't helped at all, sadly. My macbook pro is 10.10.5 and it says the creative cloud installer is compatible. I just wiped my macbook pro so I shouldn't have to create a whole new user, because this is a new account/user.
