Creative Cloud icon in the working bar is grey.
Tried to open CC from Finder but does not work.
Uninstall not allowed.
Have downloaded a new version of CC but the installer does not perform the installation until the end, after a few seconds it vanishes.
What can Ì do to fix the issue?
Thanks in advance.

I have tried all suggested steps without success.
The first two do not deliver any result.
I have tried to reinstall Creative Cloud desktop app but after downloading the app the system does not perform the installation, nor does it indicate any Error.
The last one, "Delete the content of the OOBE folder", I cannot even find the folder under Go > ~/Files. Is it inside any of the visible folders?

/Users/<user folder>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
The \Users\<user folder>\Library\ is hidden by default after 10.7. See Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later for instructions on accessing it.

Hi Abambo,
I am on Mac 10.11.6
The instructions to access /Users/ etc.... indicate: in finder choose "Go" from the menu, then "Go to Folder" and then type
~/Finder and enter.
It shows up a folders list but OOBE is not there.
Did I miss something?

Until here, my knowledge is theoretical. As I have no MacOS device, I cannot advice further. Let the Mac users jump in...

Hi Brucgovn,
I have tried the process using the Adobe Cleaner Tool. No results. When running the creative Cloud installer, after a brief flash the installation window vanishes and I get the following message:
This Error message shows up consistently any time I have tried to install Creative Cloud desktop in different approaches.
I have also tried to follow the process using the Root user account, but at step 6, I do not get a window where to place an administrator name and password, instead I get 3 different options,i.e., "Active Directory", "LDAPv32 and "NIS".
I don't know how to proceed after this. Can you help?
Thanks

This time I succeeded installing Creative Cloud through the Root User process. However, after the installation, was completed, the CC black icon did not show up on the tool bar, as I believe it should happen. I tried to open it from Finder, but the icon shows up in grey and does not open as before. The following message is shown after a while:
Pressing "Repair" seems to start a process in another window, but it vanishes in a fraction of a second.
What should I do next?
Thanks in advance.

What MS Client are you asking about?
I suggest you start a New, Your Own, converstaion on the topic, speficially, you need help with and give as much details as to what you need to know, the OS you are dealing with and the computer system it is installed on.
Along with that the Adobe program or programs you are having problems with.
