I have been using CS6 apps on my Windows laptop for several years. Recently, I purchased a slightly more capable Windows PC and tried to follow the rules for de-installing from my old laptop and installing the apps on my new PC. However, when I entered the serial number (which my account AND Adobe tech support informed me was correct), I received an error message that the serial number was invalid.
Since it clearly is a valid serial number, I need help in figuring out what to do. Yes, I know Adobe no longer supports CS6, but that's not the point. I simply CANNOT buy another CC licence for this machine, nor do I need all the bells and whistles of the latest apps. I just need to use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and maybe DreamWeaver -- but only on rare occasions.
When you can't deactivate a serial number BE SURE TO ONLY ASK FOR ACTIVATION SUPPORT TO ADJUST YOUR ACTIVATION COUNT You may need to PERSIST or TRY AGAIN to find a support agent with more experience
