CS 5.5 and high sierra

Hi Everybody,

I currently have an old mac and run CS 5.5 on Mavericks. I'm saving my $$ to upgrade my computer and finally upgrade to Creative Cloud.

Until that time happens, I'm considering upgrading my mac OS to High Sierra and wanted to know if anyone out there has real-world experience with CS 5.5 running on High Sierra (I have read the Adobe post about dragging the UNIX file to the terminal).

Specifically, the apps I use most are: Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects and Flash.

I want to know if there are problems/issues (I know there's no customer support). Am I better off sticking it out with Mavericks (which works fine with Mavericks) till I'm able to afford the upgrade?

Grateful for any replies. Thanks.

Don't think you'll see any benefits upgrading to High Sierra.

Any reasons you're thinking of doing so?

I was thinking of it because some of my other apps--like Chrome--are no longer compatible and I'm starting to have issues. I was hoping a minor upgrade would do the trick and tide me over till I can make the major switch.

But I can't afford to issues with my Adobe apps (I use them every day).

Thanks. I'll probably sit tight till I can switch over.

Good idea. The "cure" may be worse than the problem you're trying to solve.
