I got a notification on my pc that there were updates to my CS5. I clicked to download and install, then got this error:
Adobe Bridge CS5 4.0.5 Update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.
Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 Update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.
Adobe Illustrator CS5 15.0.2 Update

As soon as you install any part of the Cloud, even a trial, it replaces your program management system
-if you plan to keep using CS6 (or earlier) you should NOT install a Cloud program, not even a trial
-Read Cloud takes over https://community.adobe.com/t5/Get-Started/Get-off-the-cloud/td-p/8075485 for some ideas

I have no clue what you're talking about. I have CS5 not CS6, also I don't use any cloud programs. Never have and never will.

That is why I wrote "CS6 (or earlier)" with earlier meaning anything prior to CS6
CS5 has not been updated since about 2012, when CS6 was issued

If you update the Adobe Application Manager, then most of the updates should complete.
Let us know of any that don't.
