CS6 Activation

Hi, I'm soon to be purchasing a copy of CS6 apps from a 3rd party, and I needed to know if the activation servers are still up for me to use. (Also, no, I don't want you to tell me to buy CC, subscription models are hell for me.)

CS6 may be activated, but only if you own the serial number (see above)

Beware of so-called used / 2nd hand software on auction sites like eBay.  Scammers will say & do anything to get your money.  Be very cautious.   Hopefully, whatever you buy doesn't turn out to be bogus or worse, infected with malware/ransomeware.  If the seller isn't willing to go through the license transfer process with you, run away.  It's not worth having at any price.

If it is new and never used you don't need to worry about a transfer

Also bear in mind the old CS apps will not run on any new Mac or Mac with Catalina or later, and have issues on other recent versions of macOS.

Yeah, I'm planning to buy a Windows 10 PC too, honestly tired of apple's crap.

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10
-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window
-and/or select Run as Administrator to assign FULL Windows permissions

thanks, was also scared if cs6 wouldn't work on win10 so did some research, and it should work naitvely, thanks anyway! :)) -dave jenkins
