Recently purchased and installed Version 2020 of the above and uninstalled old versions 10 from 2011.
I now find that apparently I needed to deactivate the old Ver10 before uninstalling. They still show as activated on my account. I no longer have the Ver 10 programs to reinstall (and would not have wanted to go through that anyway -) )
This isn't causing a problem as such, but being the tidy person I am would prefer not to see them there. Any way to clean up ?
Forgot to mention these are perpetual licences not Creative Cloud.
Since you have mentioned that you have Uninstalled PS Elements & Premiere Elements ( Perpetual Licenses), they should not ideally reflect in your computer.
As another step towards confirming that the older versions were uninstalled properly, please Go to “Control Panel” and “Add or Remove programs” if you are using a Windows and check in the list of installed products if that shows the Older version as installed. If the Older version is listed, please uninstall from the “Add or remove programs”. If you are using a Mac, please Go to “Applications” folder and then to “Utilities”. If the older version is installed, it will show the Uninstaller file in the Utilities folder which you may launch and uninstall the older version.
Also, I would like to inform you that for a perpetual license, if the product is uninstalled successfully from the computer, the license is automatically de-activated and you do not require to de-activate the product separately before uninstalling or after the uninstall process.
You may continue to use the new version without any issue.
