Disable file sync to my pc

Disable file sync.
How can I stop having files on the desktop without deleting from the coud?

Don't understand what you are referencing.

"Files on the Desktop"? Is the word desktop meaning your monitors Desktop (what you see with NO programs opened) or your Desktop Computer System?

To my knowledge no cloud service, at this time, allows storage of files on the clouds without having a copy of them on the users computer and Synced back and forth between the cloud and computer.

If you simply want to stop the File Sync feature you do that in the Creative Cloud Desktop App by clicking the Cloud icon in the upper right area and Pausing the Sync feature.
