The Adobe website claims Version 13 of DNG Converter is compatible with Windows 7. When I tried to instal it I received an error message saying it would only instal on Windows 10. What version of DNG Converter will instal on Windows 7. I need a version that will recognize and convert Canon CR3 files.

Not sure where you are getting that info from. The system requirements for DNG version 13 say Windows 10 only.

Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7 so Adobe has dropped support for Windows 7 from almost all of its apps.

Version 12.4 supports Windows 7 SP1

CR3 is a family of file formats. Each CR3 format is unique to a specific camera. Which Canon camera model exactly?

Thanks for your reply, John. I realize now that the information about compatibility was incorrect. It came from another site, not Adobe's own site.

I installed version 12.2 of DNG Converter and it did convert some CR3 files that I downloaded from the internet, though I don't know what camera they came from. I haven't yet bought the camera, but I plan to get the Canon EOS 90D.

Thanks also for the link to supported cameras.
