Hi, first time posting here.
I recently began using Photoshop under the Creative Cloud. I save my files only on my computer.
I prefer to have as few items in Windows Startup. I just changed Creative Cloud to Not start with Windows, then rebooted. Photoshop opened okay.
Is there any other reason that I might need Creative Cloud to start with Windows?
Do you mean the Creative Cloud Desktop App? This?
No it does notand theer is a setting in the preferences of that program/app to stop it from starting with the system "At Login".
This is what I mean, according to your first screenshot (same graphic). It took me a bit to locate Preferences.
If it's not launched at Windows startup, how does it stay up-to-date -- assuming Launch is unchecked Keep up to date is checked? And what about getting auto updates for Photoshop?
Sorry for my confusion, and thanks!
Did you ever find out more info on this? I am de-cluttering my startup programs as well..
