Thank you for posting your query here.

The download link for Windows cannot be used for installation on a Mac.

You may as well download the Creative Cloud App from : https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

For assistance with system requirements , you may contact our Product support Team for Dreamweaver and they can assist further.

Thank you.

"I purchased Dreamweaver [but] cannot install [it] in my Mac due to operation system requirement... Can I use same download link?"

Hi @Lanka16B6,

Windows and Mac installers are different.  Which version of Dreamweaver did you buy?  I ask because legacy Creative Suite software is discontinued, no longer sold or supported.  Use at your own risk.

CS1, CS2 and CS3 are officially dead.  They cannot be activated because the aging activation servers were retired and taken offline many years ago.  Even if you have a proper installer for Win/Mac) and compatible serial number, it's useless.

CS4, CS5 and CS6 can still be activated if you have the original installation disks for Win/Mac, an optical reader, a legitimate serial number and an older operating system that can support 32-bit apps.

However, legacy Creative Suite installers won't work on macOS Sierra, High Sierra or Mojave without terminal workarounds.

And Creative Suite will NEVER work on Catalina or Big Sur because it's too outdated.   For best results, only use the latest Creative Cloud subscription software from Adobe.

Also ensure your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements for Creative Cloud + OS + all other apps you use. Check each one.
