I am getting Error 1500 when trying to install Lightroom 4 on my computer.  How do I fix this?

Hi Sandslinger,

Please make sure if the following process are closed and restart the installation.

  • CreativeCloud
  • Adobe CEF Helper`
  • Adobe Desktop Service
  • AdobeIPCBroker
  • Creative Cloud
  • Adobe Installer
  • AdobeUpdateDaemon
  • AdobeServiceInstaller
  • AAM Update Notifier
  • CCLibrary
  • node
  • Core Sync

If its a windows machine, look for MSIEXEC using "Task Manager", for mac check for Installers in "Activity Monitor" and close these processes as well.

Please share the screenshot of Task Manager or Activity Monitor if it still per
